About Neem Kroli Baba and His Ashram
Neem Karoli Baba also known as Neeb Karori Baba or Maharaj-ji, was a Hindu saint who was born in
the early 20th century in Uttar Pradesh, India. He lived a simple and ascetic life and travelled
extensively throughout India, spreading his teachings of love, devotion, and service to others. In
the 1960s and 1970s, Neem Karoli Baba gained popularity among Westerners who were drawn to
his teachings and way of life. Many of these Westerners, including spiritual seekers like Ram Dass
and Bhagavan Das, came to India to study under him.
In the early 1970s, a group of Westerners who had been living with Neem Karoli Baba expressed
their desire to build an ashram in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Neem Karoli Baba agreed and,
with the help of local villagers, the ashram was built at Kainchi Dham, which is situated at the
confluence of two rivers. The serene surroundings and the beautiful temple dedicated to Lord
Hanuman, built by Neem Karoli Baba’s devotees, are major attractions for tourists. Neem Karoli
Baba spent a significant amount of time at Kainchi Dham and it became one of his main ashrams.
He would often hold Satsang (spiritual discourses) and perform rituals there.
After Neem Karoli Baba’s death in 1973, the ashram at Kainchi Dham continued to be a center for
spiritual seekers. Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook, and Steve Jobs (the former CEO of
Apple) have a special connection with Kainchi Dham. They visited the Kainchi Dham and meditated
in the temple. Today, it is visited by people from all over the world who come to meditate, practice
yoga, and seek spiritual enlightenment.

Payment Terms



How to Make a Booking
Please send your inquiries via Email, Call, or WhatsApp using the contact details mentioned
on our website. Once we receive your query, we will update your tour itinerary and other
package details in our reply. After reviewing the details, if you are satisfied and confirm the
tour, we request you to transfer a minimum of 50% of the booking amount to any of our bank
accounts.

Tour Itinerary
We reserve the right to change, amend, or modify the tour itinerary at any time. In such cases,
we will notify you in advance via phone, email, or the best available communication method
at that time. These changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control,
such as weather conditions, cancellations of trains or flights, political unrest, etc. While we
will make every effort to keep the tour unchanged, we will not be liable to provide any
compensation or refund due to such modifications.
Hotel Bookings
Hotel bookings are made on behalf of our customers. We have tie-ups with multiple hotels.
Although hotel rates are regularly updated on our website, there may be instances where
rates fluctuate. Hotel prices may increase during long weekends and festive seasons.
Therefore, it is advisable to confirm the rates via email before making an online payment.
The quality of rooms, amenities, or meals displayed in photos on hotel websites may vary. We
cannot guarantee the availability of rooms on the same floor, adjacent rooms, or non-smoking
rooms. We reserve the right to change the pre-booked hotel or room category at any time
during the tour due to overbooking, sewage issues, electricity/water failures, or similar
circumstances.
Check-in and check-out times may vary from city to city. Please verify these timings before
making a booking. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur
additional charges. Policies regarding children’s accommodation and extra beds vary by
hotel.
Vehicle Bookings
Vehicles are booked on behalf of our customers, and we strive to provide the best available
vehicle with quality service. However, factors such as fluctuating fuel prices, interstate taxes,
vehicle maintenance costs, and toll fees are beyond our control. The rates displayed on our
website are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
In case of non-availability of the pre-booked vehicle, a similar category vehicle will be
provided. We book both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned vehicles as per customer
requests. If the air conditioner stops working due to a technical fault during the trip, it will not
be our responsibility, and no refund or vehicle replacement will be provided unless the
vehicle is deemed unfit for further travel.
Amendments or Changes After Booking
If you wish to amend or change a prior booking, you must inform us in writing via email. Any
amendments or changes will be treated as a new booking and will be subject to availability at
that time. Additional costs incurred due to changes will be borne by the customer. A
mandatory amendment charge of ₹1,000 will be applicable.


Cancellation Policy



Cancellation of the booking must be informed to us in writing via email. The cancellation
charges will be applicable depending on the services booked. Hotel and airline cancellations
will be processed according to their respective cancellation policies.
For package tours, the following cancellation charges will apply:
Cancellation 30 or more working days prior to the departure date: 25% of the total tour
cost will be charged.
Cancellation 16 to 29 working days prior to the departure date: 50% of the total tour cost
will be charged.
Cancellation less than 15 working days prior to the departure date: 100% of the total tour
cost will be charged.
Balance Payment
The complete balance payment must be made before the trip starts. However, the company
reserves the right to request the balance payment up to 30 days before the departure date.
The company also reserves the right to amend or change tour prices due to factors such as
currency fluctuations, special/high season charges imposed by suppliers, fuel price increases,
changes in travel arrangements, hikes in government taxes or visa fees, or any other
unforeseen reasons. Any such price adjustments must be paid before departure (full and
final).
No Refund for Unutilized Services
No refund or compensation will be provided for services that are not used. If you fail to avail
of or use any service for any reason, the company will not offer a refund or provide any
alternative services as compensation for the unutilized services.
